WARNING PORTLAND OREGON WOMEN- BRODY ABBOTT IS A PREDATOR

I attended the University of Oregon from 2012-2016. In 2015 I dated Brody Abbott. We did not date long but in our time together, he was EXTREMELY physically, emotionally and mentally abusive. It has been such a long time I thought I moved passed it.
I was sitting in traffic just off NE Broadway recently and low and behold who do I see. It’s Brody driving with a female passenger. Suddenly I was overwhelmed with emotion. It brought back so much pain. Instantly I started sobbing. When the traffic came to a stop at the next light. I noticed him being extremely verbally abusive to his female passenger. He was screaming at her so loud that I could hear him 2 cars back. I felt so bad for her. I know how terrible and trapped I felt being in relationship with him. As a female what can I do. Report him?! I wanted to do something but felt helpless. I talked to my fiancé about it that night. We discussed my options and he concluded that it was best I do nothing. I’ve been having nightmares for weeks. I’m hoping by posting my story other women in Portland will come forward and tell their story.
If us girls don’t stick together, than predators like Brody Abbott will continue to abuse women unchecked.
If any woman out there feels trapped. I want you to know, it’s possible to escape your abuser. No matter how low your self esteem is… no one deserves to be abused. I’m a survivor and I will not be silenced!
